Industry LEADING Equipment Upgrades!

I.T.S. has recently integrating lasers to control component deflections real-time on our electro-dynamic shakers in conjunction with fully digital controllers.  This effort has put I.T.S. at the forefront of component based High Cycle Fatigue (HCF) vibration testing, which in many cases surpasses our competitors and OEM facilities.

I.T.S. has wrapped up preliminary testing using a laser displacement system (LDS) being performed in conjunction with a standard optical scope (as reference), with the LDS controlling the vibration fatigue testing on various components used in Aerospace and Power Generation.  

Through this effort I.T.S. has further minimize the potential errors involved in such testing that requires a human eye to optically measure the deflection of the part, through the implementation of cutting edge electronics such as the LDS's.

The preliminary results were so favourable, I.T.S. has instituted the addition of such intelligent monitoring/control equipment across our full line of shakers.

Thus making for a more controlled and accurate testing environment while diminishing human error and improved test scatter.
