Innovative Test Solutions, Inc. utilizes a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to handle a wide range of the business aspects to be more efficient and productive in everyday tasks. The system manages writing Proposals, keeping track of Projects, writing Purchase Orders, logging Samples and Tests, managing Customers, and keeping track of Equipment and Calibrations.

Some significant key features with the LIMS software are the email updates and Test Certificate preparation. We are able to send our Customers automated email updates on the project status so they always know where their project stands. LIMS also manages all test data and is able to generate Test Certificates from the inputted data and reduces the time taken to prepare the final Certificate of Test.

Some of the goals for ITS with the implementation of LIMS was to improve employee efficiency and reduce associated overhead costs. This allows us to have lower testing costs which benefit our Customers.
