I.T.S. is equipped with a vast array of shaker systems ranging in size from small desk-top piezoelectric units to larger floor models capable of up to 5000 Lbs force. Some of which have integrated slip tables and state-of-the-art fully digital control systems installed.
Currently, I.T.S. has embarked on integrating lasers to control component deflections real-time on our electro-dynamic shakers. An effort such as this entails a calibrated signal for both monitoring/control is received from the Laser Displacement System (LDS) which is then processed by the digital controller, otherwise known as closing the 'loop'. Thus making for a better controlled test environment, improving scatter, while further diminishing the potential for errors involving historically a human eye to optically measure the deflection of the part.

This pro-active approach will by far put I.T.S. at the forefront of component based High Cycle Fatigue (HCF) vibration testing, which in many cases surpassing even the OEM's.
It is I.T.S.'s intention to institute such intelligent monitoring/control equipment across our full line of shakers by January 2008.
