Innovative Test Solutions, Inc. (I.T.S.) is a mechanical engineering and testing laboratory specializing in the mechanical behavior of structures and structural material with a particular emphasis in the areas of thermal barrier coatings (TBC's), vibration, fatigue, fracture mechanics, rupture, and friction & wear.

I.T.S., a woman owned small business was founded in 2004 by Mr. Robert S. & Susan A. Briody and Mr. Luigi V. Fiorini.  Ms. Briody's background includes corporate accounting and business management.  Mr. Briody's and Mr. Fiorini's background include both directing standard testing programs and developing advanced analytical testing procedures to evaluate fatigue & component properties of various metal alloys and composites.  Ms. Briody the former service manager for TOMRA North America, in up-state New York, Mr. Briody the Operations Manager of the former Materials Characterization Laboratory (MCL) with twelve plus years of testing experience and Mr. Fiorini the Laboratory Director of the former Materials Characterization Laboratory (MCL) with seven plus years of testing experience partnered up to develop one of the most state of the art fully digital testing facilities to answer today's ever increasing complex problems.  The staff of I.T.S. includes engineers and technicians with years of testing experience within their areas of expertise. Other engineering support comes from a group of diverse consultants, shown in our Matrix of Engineering Support who work very closely with us on many projects.
